Practice Schedules:
Both boys and girls basketball practice takes place at the Audrey Moore Recreation Center at Wakefield Park.
First & Second Quarter - practices begin at 7:30 am.
Third and Fourth Quarter - practices begin at 8:00 am.

All boys and girls basketball games are included on the GWCS Basketball Games Calendar shown below. This calendar may change as games change so check back regularly. The GWCS Basketball Games Calendar is visible on the GWCS Events calendar as well.

Soccer - Coed
Soccer is an extracurricular, coed club sport. Fun practices are held after school every Wednesday from 3:15 pm - 4:15 pm (weather permitting). Mr. Torres is the coach. GWCS will compete against other schools and the scrimmage against each other. No need to be an expert! All skill levels are welcome.

Morning Fitness
GWCS students and teachers begin each day at the gym. As one student commented, “Personal Fitness changed by life. I now know the true benefits exercise has on the mind and body. I am a lot less stressed and am physically in shape." Students have the option to play basketball, do personal fitness be part of the morning hiking club. Something for everyone!
FLAG FOOTBALL - coed
Flag Football is an extracurricular, coed club sport offered in the fall. Fun practices are held after school every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:15 pm - 4:15 pm (weather permitting). Mr. Fedinatz and Mr. Connelly are the coaches. GWCS will compete against other schools and the two GWCS teams will scrimmage against each other. No need to be an expert! All skill levels are welcome.

Softball - Coed
Softball is an extracurricular, coed club sport offered in the spring. Practices are held in the morning at Audrey Moore RECenter on Mondays and Thursdays from 8:00 am - 9:00 am. Mr. Fedinatz and Ms. Shumard are the coaches. GWCS will compete against other schools in the ISAAC League. Never played softball before? Now's your chance to learn. No experience required.
